Girls Room is an all female rock and roll band in Sussex County, Delaware. Featuring drummer Jill Brady, formerly of The Girlfriends, guitarist Kathy Nace-Jones, bassist Terri Brady & vocalist Barbara Phillips.

Barb Phillips: Lead vocalist. Barb brings over 25 yrs. experience as a singer with various bands, theater and as a solo performer in the greater Philadelphia area. Barb’s range can cover a wide variety of artists including Ronstadt, Carlisle, Hynde and Benatar, to name a few. Her energy draws the crowd in every time.

Kathy Nace-Jones: Lead guitar and vocals. Kathy started playing in local bands as a teenager in the York, PA area. Throughout the past five decades, Kathy has played in country western, 50’s do-wop, 1940’s swing and classic rock bands. Her musical influences are the Beatles, Bonnie Raitt and BB King. She is known for playing a wide range of musical genres and a soulful, smokey voice.

Terri Brady: Bass guitar and vocals. Terri has loved music since a very young age. Her early influences were Joni Mitchell, CSNY and Heart. She started with acoustic guitar and her love for percussion. She moved from the Philadelphia area to the Delaware beaches and started playing with some local bands and at open mics. She finally found her love, the bass guitar. She has been known to rock it out on percussion with her sister Jill on any Santana song.

Jill Brady: Drums and vocals. Jill has been performing in bands in the Philadelphia area since the early 1970’s. Her first all female band was Liberty 1920 which played the PA and Southern NJ club scene in 1972-1977 when there were few all female acts. In the 1980-90’s she played with Tapistrie, The Girlfriends and Glass House bands. She moved to the Delaware beaches in 2005 and began making new music connections. She most recently played with The Girlfriends Trio for 7 yrs. Her early influences are Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Ringo Starr and Mick Fleetwood. Jill is also known for her Stevie Nicks renditions.
