Bethany Blues donates $1,680 to Delaware Hospice

For the second year in a row, Bethany Blues in Lewes hosted Delaware Hospice’s Battle of the Bartenders. It raised $1,680 to support hospice programs.

This year, patrons tipped their favorite bartenders, and 100 percent of guest bartender tips were donated to Delaware Hospice. Also, if diners mentioned Delaware Hospice, 20 percent of their dinner orders were donated. The event featured the pouring talents of Steve Alexander, Kara Brasure, Carol Fezuk, Bob Greason, Kathy Jacobs, Jeannie Mack, Bill and Denise McCormick, Steve Morgan, Missy Nalewaik, Kathy Sperl-Bell and Allison Stine.

“Delaware Hospice is a great organization,” said Strohm Edwards, general manager of Bethany Blues, Lewes. “My team looks forward each year to host a great event for our customers and Delaware Hospice.”

“As the only nonprofit hospice in Delaware, we rely on the generosity of organizations and individuals like Bethany Blues to help support our programs,” said Peggy Dolby, Delaware Hospice assistant director of development. “Thank you to Bethany Blues for their continued support.”
