BLUES OF LEWES EXPANDS OUTDOOR SEATING

Delaware is currently in Phase II of the reopening process, which means that restaurants are getting back into a groove that includes new safety protocol, and lots of outdoor seating! Bethany Blues of Lewes is no exception, and they are making their dining experience as safe and friendly as it can be with new, expanded outdoor seating.

“We have added outdoor, tented space and renovated seating in our pergola area  to enhance options and ambiance. And put lots of safety measures in place.” Says Jessica Nathan, Director of Operations. “We are so excited to welcome people back, and to offer beautiful outdoor seating. People are loving the option and it feels good to them as an additional, safe dining choice.”

During Phase II, reservations are highly encouraged because Bethany Blues fills quickly and seating is limited. The bar area is once again open, with lots of space for socially distant seating. They have also added back in some musical and game night entertainment.

Bethany Blues is committed to safety in their restaurant to ensure that Delawareans can enjoy their delicious barbecue and drinks. They go above and beyond to exceed safety standards and the reason for this is simple: “We want to ensure the safety of our staff and our guests and be part of the responsible reopening of Delaware.” Explains Nathan. This is part of the reason that Bethany Blues of Lewes has expanded outdoors to accommodate customers.

Safety protocol at Blues includes, but is not limited to, socially distance tables, sanitizing stations in the dining room, face masks for all staff, daily wellness checks for all staff, touch-less restroom equipment including foot pedals for opening the door without your hands, and disposable menus. All staff has also gone through additional food, safety, and sanitation training. They require all customers to wear masks until they are seated at their table.

The management has honed their process to minimize contact so that you are greeted at your car and when your table is ready, the hostess takes you directly there. They have really thought through the experience in order to keep their establishment open in the safest possible way.

And, of course, for every diner that wants to be in the restaurant, Bethany Blues knows that there are still many who, for health reasons, are isolating at home. They will continue to have their contactless delivery service as well as curbside pick up, all of which can be handled through their website at www.bethanyblues.com and this is also where you can find information on the entertainment schedule as it becomes available.

Bethany Blues carryout is available 7 days a week from 12pm-9PM and dine-in hours are expanding to Monday-Thursday 4-9PM and Friday-Sunday 12-10PM starting July 1st. Call 302-644-2500 or visit them online to reserve a table today!
