When it comes to Valentine’s Day, nothing is worse than feeling like the odd (wo)man out. If you aren’t coupled, or you are, and ditching the concept of one day devoted to love, both Bethany Blues locations have a little something special for you. Let’s just put it out there: we’ve got a crush on you and we’re gonna show you all the love you need.
Lewes location:
If you’re on the Rehoboth side of the Inlet Bridge, then head on over to the Lewes location where they are proudly doing basically nothing for Valentine’s Day. Lewes will be serving up $5 crushes in all varieties (bourbon and vodka) so whether you’re crushing on someone special, looking to get crushed, or just need someone to crush on ya, you’re covered. Regular Thursday night specials will be in full swing. Come and grab a half priced barbecue sandwich and enjoy Team Trivia at 7PM (sign up at 6:30PM).
And for the extra salty, lonely hearts, you can come on in, warm yourself by the roaring fire and then throw your old love letters in it and watch them burn, baby, burn! The burning of the love notes (or old pictures, or just someone’s name scrawled on a piece of paper in hate), was started last Valentine’s Day, and is back by popular demand. Seriously, it’s a great time to let go of an old flame by using a literal flame to torch your feelings.
Bethany Location:
The Bethany location is hosting a Bourbon and Wine Expo in conjunction with Banks’ Wine and Spirits on February 14th, which is a mix and mingle casual event featuring sips and direct sales in addition to some amazing food stations. The theme is “Bourbon and Wine will be your Valentine” and the event was so instantly popular it already sold out, but not to worry because the Bethany location is still open for regular service!
Come on in and build your own burger that evening for our usual burger night in our comfy atmosphere. We’ll also be pouring $5 crushes! It won’t be cluttered with all the makings of a romantic energy field, just the ambiance you’ve come to expect from your favorite watering hole. Isn’t that refreshing? But wait, there’s more. Just kidding. There isn’t. That’s what makes us special on Valentine’s Day.
